Simple Trick to Add Light or Shine to Anything in Photoshop
In this Photoshop tutorial, we will learn how to add light to the street lamp or shine, to jewelry using a simple trick. Prep your project and let’s start!
1. First, open the lamp picture.
2. Add a new layer (CTRL+SHIFT+N) – Choose Blend Mode: Normal to Color Dodge, and check to Fill with Color-Dodge-neutral color (BLACK) – OK.
3. After the new layer is created, double-click to open Layer Style – Blending Options – uncheck Transparency Shapes Layer – OK.
4. Select the Brush Tool (B) – Set Flow at 5% – And paint whit white color to add light on the bulb.
5. Lower Fill to about 60%.
That’s it! We have finished the first example.
For the second example, with the pendant, we’ll do the same, the same steps above, but now we’ll glow that stone, and we’ll use the purple color (915d9d) to give a nice effect to that pendant.
